QPR midfielder Sandro has joined Albion on loan until the end of the season. The 26-year-old was on the fringes at QPR and has now secured a Premier League loan move as he looks to boost his game times. He’s made just 11 appearances for the Championship side this season and becomes Albion’s first bit of business this window.
Take a look through the slideshow as I look at 5 reasons why I think Sandro is a good signing for West Bromwich Albion. What are your thoughts on the Sandro loan? Let us know in the comments below.
Premier League experience
Despite only being 26 Sandro has plenty of Premier League experience. He’s played over 90 times in the top flight for Spurs and QPR scoring 4 goals. He knows the league well which is a great plus as we’ve seen first hand with the likes of Rondon how hard it can be to adapt.
He's a Brazilian international
Not only does Sandro have Premier League he’s also represented his country Brazil 17 times scoring once. You don’t get into the Brazil midfield over 15 times without having something about you.
He's versatile
While he’s naturally a defensive midfielder Sandro can also go forward. He’s got a wicked long shot on him and a good eye for a pass forward. With Morrison out injured for 2 months, he could see himself playing further forward.
He fits the Pulis style
Tall, hard hitting and not afraid to put his body on the line. He could easily become a fans favourite and looks like a perfect Pulis player.
It's low risk
At the end of the day, it’s just a loan deal. If it goes great would could try test QPR’s arm in the summer. If it goes badly we send him back to QPR and we move on simple as that.
