West Brom have completed the signing of Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old has been a bit-part player at QPR this season, featuring in just 11 of their league games in this campaign.

Albion will be the third Premier League club that the Brazilian has played for in England’s top-flight, after his spells with Tottenham Hotspur and QPR.

Although he hasn’t played for his national team since 2012, Sandro’s age still gives him the opportunity to force his way back into the Brazil squad, and if he can prove himself at the top level once again, it is not beyond the realms of possibility that he can get himself back into contention.

QPR are looking to reduce their wage bill, and as such were happy to let one of their higher earners leave until the summer, even on a temporary basis.
