West Brom have emerged as main contenders to land Tottenham midfielder Alex Pritchard on a loan until the end of the season, after the Daily Telegraph journalist John Percy revealed that the youngster would complete a medical with the Baggies on the morning of deadline day.
Pritchard has created a brilliant reputation for himself after his highly impressive tenure at Brentford last season, becoming their star player throughout the campaign and showing just how good he can be.
The midfielder also made a name for himself at international level, featuring nine times for the England under 21’s last season whilst at Brentford, where he made 45 appearances in all competitions and scored 12 times from attacking midfield and on the flanks.

It is looking increasingly likely that deadline day will be a busy time for those involved with West Brom, due to the imminent arrival of Pritchard at the club in a loan deal, but also with the ongoing transfer saga regarding Saido Berahino, who was the subject of £21 million bids from Stoke and Newcastle today.
