West Bromwich Albion striker Victor Anichebe is reportedly happy to let his contract run out and leave the club on a free transfer in the summer. Reports from AfricanFootball also say that the Nigerian international turned down a loan move to Championship side Derby this window.

Anichebe has seen his game time limited this season. The forward has made just 7 appearances for Albion and is yet to score. The 6ft 3 striker signed back in 2013 for a reported £6 million fee from Everton where he scored 18 league goals for the club. It appears the player is now happy to stay at The Hawthorns for the next 6 months and then leave the club on a free transfer when his current contract comes to an end.
