The West Brom players were meant to have today off but Tony Pulis cancelled that and brought the whole squad in as he looked to assess the injury crisis that has hit the club in recent weeks.
The Baggies had to play 120 minutes plus penalties in order to dispatch Peterborough in their FA Cup fourth round replay and the victory came at a cost.
Gareth McAuley was taken off with an injury to his hamstring, and he is added to the injury list that contains Chris Brunt, Craig Dawson, Jonny Evans and long-term absentees James Morrison and Callum McManaman.
As reported by the Shropshire Star, Pulis brought all of his players into the training ground to assess their physical condition ahead of the trip to Everton on Saturday, although they did not do any actual training.
Fatigue will be a huge factor in the weekend’s game, so Pulis may be forced to rotate as best he can, but that won’t be easy with an ever-increasing injury list.
