West Brom face the stern challenge of facing an in-form Everton side this weekend and Baggies boss Tony Pulis says it will be difficult for his side without their first choice players.
Pulis also said how his team are capable of beating any team in the league when his players are fit, yet his comments will still come as a blow to any player on the fringes at The Hawthorns.
West Brom’s defence struggled against Peterborough midweek with several key players such as Chris Brunt, Johnny Evans and Craig Dawson all missing the game.
Pulis had this to say about his fringe players.
We’re a team who needs our best players fit. With our best players fit we can win games without a question of a doubt. It’s just looking at the team that’s available. We’ll see what’s what.
Pulis did have some slightly more positive news for Baggies fans as Craig Dawson seems to be over the worst of his injury.
Dawson will have a chance, but I’m saying a chance.
The Baggies take on Everton at Goodison Park at 3pm on Saturday. This will be a real test of Pulis’ fringe players as Everton have been scoring freely, recording consecutive 3-0 victories in their last three games.
