West Brom are thought to be the latest English club vying for the signature of Norweign midfielder Havard Nordtveit, accoring to Darren Witcoop of the Mirror.
Nordtveit is a versatile player, able to play anywhere in the back four, and also as a holding midfielder. With Tony Pulis playing many players in unfamiliar positions this season, Nordtveit may be a player who would fit in well to his plan.
The 25-year-old is set to become a a free agent on July 1st, due to him as of yet not signing a new contract with his current side Borrussia Monchengladbach.
West Brom face competition for the services of Nordtveit, with fellow Premier League sides Southampton, West Ham and Liverpool all thought to be interested in the player.
In his 19 league games this season, Nordtveit has scored four times, and got a solitary assist. He was also made captain for three games whilst regular captain Granit Xhaka served a suspension.
