West Brom make £9m bid for defender
West Brom have submitted a £9million bid for versatile Leicester City man, Jeffrey Schlupp, according to The Telegraph.
Albion manager, Tony Pulis is keen to rebuild the club’s defence this summer and has identified the Ghanian as a solution to fill the left-back position.
Pulis has also identified Leeds United defender, Charlie Taylor as a possible alternative but would prefer to move for the Foxes’ defender due to his Premier League experience.
Schlupp, who had also caught the attention of Watford this summer, could very well follow N’Golo Kante out of the King Power Stadium with the French midfielder looking set to join Chelsea.
The left-back endured a mixed season with Leicester, despite their title success. He started the season as the first-choice full back but was soon replaced by Christian Fuchs and would go on to have limited opportunities from the bench.
Fellow Leicester City defender, Ben Chilwell has also been linked with an exit, which will leave the Premier League desperate to keep hold of their stars this summer.
