West Brom take Arsenal winger Tyrell Robinson on trial
West Brom have taken young Arsenal winger Tyrell Robinson on trial this summer with a view to a permanent transfer.
The 18-year-old wide-man featured in a Premier League 2 fixture for the Baggies U23 side against Fulham U23s last night and scored in a 2-1 home win.

Robinson is capable of playing at left-back, but his preferred position is at left wing. In fact, Tyrell has become increasingly frustrated with Arsenal’s academy coaching staff for constantly deploying him at left-back, as per Arsenal Youth.
He progressed through Arsenal’s academy system and signed his first professional contract in January 2015. He is yet to make a first-team appearance, but he did feature prominently in the under-21 side – making 13 appearances in the U21 Premier League and seven in the UEFA Youth League.
The Daily Mail claimed earlier this summer that Robinson was to leave Arsenal to sign a two-year contract with West Ham, but the move never materialised and he is now looking to earn a contract at The Hawthorns and couldn’t have done much better last night.
