West Brom have bid rejected for Balde Keita
Serie A side Lazio have turned down an offer from West Brom to sign winger Balde Keita, according to Radiosei (h/t Inside Futbol).
Several Premier League clubs have been interested in a move for Keita this summer but no moves have been completed.
It’s claimed that the Baggies lodged an €18m bid for the Senegalese attacker which was promptly turned down by Lazio. He has two years let on his contract.
West Brom could go in with a follow-up offer for the 21-year-old, or they consider a move for other targets if a move for Keita is too pricey.
Callum McManaman is set for a move to Newcastle before tomorrow’s transfer deadline and Tony Pulis is eager to bring in some more attackers.
Saido Berahino could still also leave the club in the next 48 hours with Stoke and Crystal Palace interested, but the Baggies have already turned down offers of £20m from both clubs.
