Who should replace Jonny Evans for Liverpool game?
West Brom must travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool this weekend without Jonny Evans after the Northern Irishman picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Tottenham.
That means that he is now suspended for the game against Jurgen Klopp’s side, so Tony Pulis has a decision to make in terms of who replaces him.
There are three probable options, those being Jonas Olsson, Brendan Galloway or Chris Brunt.
Olsson would be a like for like-for like replacement at centre-back and looks to be the obvious choice. Having seen Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side defend deep and get a 0-0 draw at Anfield, Pulis could employ the same tactics and Olsson would be perfect for that.
One of Brendan Galloway and Chris Brunt could come in a full back with Craig Dawson or Allan Nyom moving into the centre of defence.
That would be a slightly more attacking move and getting Brunt on could expose Liverpool’s weakness from corner kicks, as he proved with a great cross for Nacer Chadli’s goal against Spurs.
So, which of the three options would you choose? Let us know in out poll:
