West Brom interested in signing Ashley Young
West Brom are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United outcast Ashley Young, according to the Telegraph.
Young is set to leave Old Trafford with a return to his former club Watford his likely destination, though the Telegraph mention Everton, Swansea and West Brom as clubs who are interested in signing the 31-year-old.
The winger left Aston Villa for Manchester United in June 2011 and impressed on several occasions early on in his Red Devil’s career, specifically against Arsenal as the club embarrassed the Gunners 8-2 at Old Trafford.
Now, it looks as though the Englishman has called time on his United career and hopes to find a move that would enable him more time on the pitch.
Tony Pulis has been vocal about the January window, saying that he wants to add three quality players to his squad and Young certainly fits that bill.
The winger is looking for regular game time to get himself back in the frame to play for England, so whichever club offers him the best chance of getting that is likely to secure his signature.
