West Brom interested in signing Burnley winger
West Brom are one of three clubs interested in signing Burnley winger Josh Ginnelly, according to a report from HITC.
Premier League champions Leicester City are also said to be interested in signing the wide man, as are Aston Villa.
The 19-year-old was on Villa’s books as a youngster but never quote made the grade and was eventually released. He signed for Shrewsbury Town where he impressed enough to be picked up by Burnley, who paid an undisclosed fee to get him to Turf Moor.
Ginnelly is yet to make a first team breakthrough for the Clarets and has spent time on loan with Altrincham and Walsall.
His contract with Burnley expires in 18 months time and with him struggling for first team opportunities, he could look for a move.
However, Sean Dyche’s side are keen to keep hold of the teenager as they see him as a good prospect for the future.
Whether Albion can get a deal done to sign the winger remains to be seen.
