Berahino has been in a stand-off with West Brom for essentially 18 months following multiple rejected bids from Tottenham dating back to the summer of 2015.
The former England U21 international wanted to leave the club after netting 20 goals during the 2014/15 campaign but saw his move to Tottenham blocked by the club which did not sit well with the player.
Saido has rejected three contract offers from West Brom since, the latest worth £60,000-a-week (triple his current wages) but each time a new deal has been put in front of him he has turned it down. His current deal expires at the end of the season which has forced Tony Pulis’ hand to sell him this month.
Stoke were interested in Saido in the summer, having a £20m bid rejected but they reignited their interest earlier this month with a £6m offer which was turned down.
Understand the Stoke deal for Berahino could be worth £15m after ads-ons etc #scfc #wba
