This Premier League season has been one of much uncertainty, with several teams in the mix for a relegation battle.
All of Bournemouth, Leicester, Swansea, and Crystal Palace are in some bother, finding themselves just outside the drop zone. However, the likes of Middlesbrough, Hull, and Sunderland are all in serious danger of going down this season, with the trio positioned in the relegation places.
Although it’s extremely tight down at the foot of the table, West Brom and their fans alike will be relieved to know that whatever happens, it’ll be a calm end to the season.
Tony Pulis’ men have been enjoying a superb campaign so far, finding themselves comfortably sat in eighth place of the table behind Everton, who are in contention for a Europa League spot next season.
However, this isn’t to say that the Baggies have significantly better players than those at the bottom.
Here are three players from the seven teams in danger listed that West Brom should consider signing in the summer.
Bournemouth
Ryan Fraser – The youngster has been superb in the second half of the season and has caused plenty of teams trouble with his pace and trickery.
Harry Arter – Arter is consistently one of Bournemouth’s best performers and would slot in seamlessly at the Hawthorns.
Callum Wilson – Although he is riddled with injury, no-one can deny that Wilson is a top quality finisher and has a lot of talent.
Leicester
Demarai Gray – The winger hasn’t featured enough for Leicester this season but is now catching the eye with some superb performances on the flank.
Shinji Okazaki – The Japanese striker is vastly underrated and would add a different dimension of attack to West Brom.
Marc Albrighton – Another winger, Albrighton would provide an excellent outlet on either side and would be able to utilise his crossing ability.
Swansea
Luciano Narsingh – The Netherlands winger has only been at Swansea for a short time but has made an impression with some exciting displays.
Martin Olsson – Like Narsingh, Olsson only signed in January but has shown a lot of quality from left-back.
Leroy Fer – The Dutchman was one of the key players for Swansea at the start of the season and would add quality in the middle for West Brom.
Crystal Palace
Joel Ward – West Brom could do with a proper right-back, and very few are as consistent and established as Ward.
Jason Puncheon – Puncheon’s ability to play through the middle and on the wing would be a brilliant asset.
Scott Dann – Dann hasn’t lived up to the high expectations he once promised, but is still a very solid defender.
Middlesbrough
Adam Clayton – The midfielder has been one of their better players this season and would add work rate, vision and defensive quality.
George Friend – The left-back has been a mainstay in Boro’s team and could provide a good outlet for the Baggies.
Adama Traore – The Spaniard has caught the eye of many this season and despite his technical side of the game needing work, he’s physically outstanding.
Hull
Andy Robertson – The youngster has shown time and time again that he is a quality, Premier League left-back, and West Brom would be the perfect next step.
Harry Maguire – Another Hull youngster, Maguire has shown quality this season and has been a key figure in the defence.
Kamil Grosicki – The Polish international was only signed in January but has shown how he can hurt teams with his pace.
Sunderland
Lamine Kone – The defender’s future at the club has always been in doubt, but West Brom could be a good move for him.
Didier Ndong – The club-record signing has adjusted to life in the Premier League well and could be a good move.
Bryan Oviedo – Signed from Everton in January, Oviedo has impressed down the left.
