Tony Pulis is monitoring Napoli striker Duvan Zapata, who is currently on loan at Udinese, ahead of a potential summer move.
According to Italian outlet, Tutto Mercato Web, the Baggies are keen on the striker, along with fellow Italian side, Lazio.
The 25-year-old, who is currently in his second season on loan at Udinese, has scored seven goals in all competitions this season in Italy.
West Brom will be in the market for a striker during the summer to provide competition for Salomon Rondon.
The Baggies sold Saido Berahino in the January transfer window to Stoke City but were unable to bring in a suitable replacement in time, leaving Pulis slightly light in the attacking department.
Zapata, who has represented Colombia at U20s level, is yet to feature for the country’s senior side. He would arrive at the Hawthorns with European experience under his belt as Pulis looks to add extra quality to his squad ready for next season.
