West Brom have a number of talented young players coming through at the club right now, but they could be preparing to say goodbye to another in the near future.

Striker Andre Wright has joined Brighton on trial this month in a bid to earn himself a summer move, the Argus are reporting.

The 20-year-old forward has yet to make his debut for the Baggies and has spent the majority of the season out on loan after joining Coventry in August for the first half of the campaign, returning to the Hawthorns at the start of January.

Wright scored twice in 12 games for the League One side who opted not to extend his loan deal until the end of the season.

This was Wright’s third loan spell in the last two seasons having spent time with both Kidderminster and Torquay during 2015/16 but as of yet he’s yet to make his first-team breakthrough.

He’s joined Championship promotion chasers Brighton on trial and featured in a U23 clash with Aston Villa last night in a game which the Seagulls lost 2-0.
