The end of the season is nearing and it’s certainly been a good one for Tony Pulis and his West Brom side so far.
They’re currently sat in eighth place and have already hit the 40-point mark, effectively securing their Premier League status ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
However, despite an excellent season up to now, Pulis will almost certainly be keen to bolster the ranks at the club.
Here are some Premier League players that will be free agents at the end of the season that Pulis should consider signing.
Lucas Leiva
Lucas has been something of a stalwart for Liverpool but his contract comes to an end at the close of the season. He’d provide experience, versatility and an eye for a pass.
Pablo Zabaleta
Zabaleta’s deal at Manchester City expires soon and he’d certainly provide quality and composure at right-back for the Baggies.
Glen Johnson
Johnson is another right-back that will be available. He’s got big-game know-how, can provide a good outlet at either end of the pitch and would be a smart signing.
Martin Caceres
Caceres is yet to make an appearance for Southampton since his move last month, but has undoubted quality. It’s just a question of fitness with the Uruguayan, and it’d be a risk worth taking for the Baggies if he does come available at the end of his short-term deal on the south coast.
George Boyd
Boyd is a real workhorse for Burnley and they’ll be keen to keep him, but as it stands he’ll be a free agent in the summer. He provides outstanding work ethic and would be a good squad player.
Wayne Hennessey
Hennessey has been part of the goalkeeping shake-up at Crystal Palace in recent years and would be a good backup option for Ben Foster.
