Tony Pulis is reportedly keen on bolstering his defensive options at West Brom with a move for Sampdoria defender Milan Skriniar.
According to a report today from the Daily Mail, the powerful central defender is on Pulis’ radar as he ponders a summer move having been out to watch him in action recently.
The report states that the Baggies boss himself flew out to Genoa to see Sampdoria’s Serie A clash with Juventus on Sunday and is now considering lodging a bid for him.
Skriniar has been impressive at the heart of the defence for the Italian side, showing quality and potential in abundance with some stellar defensive performances at just 22-years-old.
Not only does Skriniar possess a lot of physical prowess and technical ability on the ball, he is also versatile. Although he is naturally a central defender, operating best on the left of a partnership, he can also play in holding midfield.
