Tony Pulis will be in the market to improve his squad in the summer following an impressive campaign this season, and one of the players he’s believed to be keen on is Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto.

The Czech midfielder has recently been rewarded for a fine season in Serie A with his first two international caps during the last international break and has started to appear on the radar of other clubs.

Messaggero Veneto have reported that Napoli are interested in signing the 21-year-old who has contributed four assists and five goals in 23 Serie A appearances this season.

Napoli have had striker Duvan Zapata on loan with Udinese this season and they’re willing to allow him to join them on a permanent basis, if they can have Jankto in return, a deal which Udinese are not overly keen on.

Baggies representatives have travelled to Italy for talks with Udinese over a possible summer move, with Arsenal also said to be interested.

Despite signing a new contract with the Serie A club earlier this month, he’s valued at just €15m.
