Over the second half of the season, West Brom have really struggled to score goals on a regular basis which has seen their form tail off towards the end of the season.

Tony Pulis will look to rectify that by bringing in another striker in the summer and has his scouts out looking for potential recruits.

The Baggies were present for the Belgian League’s Europa League play-off last night with an eye on highly-rated Eupen forward Henry Onyekuru against Royal Excel Mouscron.

Southampton and Crystal Palace were also scouting the Nigerian striker who has bagged 23 goals and 14 assists this season.

Only 19, Onyekuru is rated at £7m and has also been linked with the likes of Liverpool, Everton, West Ham and Celtic in recent weeks ahead of the summer transfer window.

West Ham only have Salomon Rondon in their ranks as a recognised striker and the addition of Onyekuru would help ease the pressure on the Venezuelan’s shoulders next season.
