Swansea battling with Premier League clubs for Nacer Chadli
West Bromwich Albion attacker Nacer Chadli is being chased by a host of Premier League clubs including Swansea City following his fall-out with Baggies boss Tony Pulis, according to a report on the Express and Star.
The 27-year-old Belgian has been left out of the West Brom pre-season squad which has travelled to Austria and is highly likely to go through the exit door this summer.
The Baggies signed Chadli for a club-record £13m last summer and had an impressive season at the Hawthorns by scoring five times and assisting five times, but it seems that there is no way back for the Belgian after a bust-up with Pulis.
Swansea were interested in signing Chadli last summer but lost out and they have again renewed their interest in the player as they look to bolster their attacking options before the start of the new campaign.
Stoke City have also been linked with a move for Chadli and with their winger Marko Arnautovic seemingly on the move, Chadli will serve as a perfect replacement.
Also, signing Chadli may entice Swansea’s star man Gylfi Sigurdsson to stay at the Welsh club for another season after strong interest from Everton.
Swansea and Stoke are yet to make bids for the Belgian as he trains alone for the time being.
