Gibson keen to make Premier League switch
West Brom target Ben Gibson is keen to move back to the Premier League this summer, according to The Mirror.
The report claims that Gibson is looking to secure a transfer to the English top-flight, with West Brom heavily linked.
The Mirror claims that West Brom are ready to make a £20m offer for Gibson, which would break their transfer record.
It is not known whether this would be enough to prize him away from Middlesbrough, though, with the club determined to keep him.
Gibson’s uncle, Steve, is the owner of Middlesbrough and wants to keep his nephew in Teeside to return to the Premier League next season.
Tony Pulis is looking to add more options to his defence for next season, having already signed Ahmed Hegazi on a season-long loan earlier this month.
Despite Middlesbrough’s relegation, Gibson impressed at the heart of the defence and has even been called up by England at senior level.
