West Brom’s unbeaten start to the Premier League season came to an end as they were thrashed by Brighton on the south coast.

Brighton, who were looking for their first ever Premier League win, were able to comfortably take the three points – with West Brom offering little competition.

Pascal Gross scored twice for the home side, with Tomer Hemed rounding off the scoring.

James Morrison came off the bench to pull a goal back for The Baggies, but it was all little too late as they succumbed to defeat.

Gross scored either side of half-time – in the 45th and 48th minute – and Hemed put the tie to bed in the 63rd minute.

Tony Pulis’ men were taught a lesson by Brighton, despite boasting multiple Europa League winner Grezgorz Krychowiak in midfield on his debut for the club.
