Jake Livermore explains why he’s taking a short break
Jake Livermore did not feature in West Brom’s 0-0 draw against West Ham on Saturday and he will not play against Manchester City in the EFL Cup this week either as Tony Pulis confirmed that the cub have decided to give the England midfielder a break as he was feeing mentally fatigued.
There were some concerns amongst the fan base that Livermore might have been suffering from some sort of mental illness, something which he openly admitted he has dealt with in the past, but the Albion star took to Twitter to explain that he simply was not feeling 100% due to the lack of a break he had in the summer.

Livermore was part of the England set up during the summer and he did not take much of a break before returning to West Brom so he’ll be taking it now instead.
