West Brom are currently without a win in their last five Premier League games and they have reportedly been offered the chance to sign a former Champions League winner on a free transfer.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the Baggies are among a host of clubs that have been proposed signing Raul Meireles on a free transfer.

Meireles spent two years in the Premier League with Liverpool and Chelsea between 2010 and 2012 where he won three major honours including the League Cup at Anfield and the FA Cup and Champions League with the Blues.

The former Portugal international has been without a club since leaving Fenerbahce and has also been offered to Swansea, Leicester and Watford, while there is also interest from Italy in his services.

Tony Pulis pulled off two major coups in the summer by bringing in Gareth Barry from Everton and Grzegorz Krychowiak on loan from Paris Saint Germain, making a move for Meireles unnecessary at this point.
