Slaven Bilic rejects approach from West Brom
West Brom have reportedly made an approach for Slaven Bilic as they aim to appoint a new manager.
It’s stated by the Daily Mail that the Croatian tactician was sounded out by the Baggies, who are looking to replace Tony Pulis following his dismissal on Monday.
However, Bilic is seemingly reluctant to jump straight back into management following three and a quarter seasons with West Ham.
The report claims that Bilic has turned down West Brom’s approach as he looks to spend more time with his family while taking a break from football management.
Bilic was axed at the London Stadium recently following a treacherous start to the season. West Ham sit narrowly behind West Brom in the relegation zone and have since appointed David Moyes as their new manager.
Former Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew appears to still be the most likely to step in at the Hawthorns but Oscar Garcia, who left Saint-Etienne earlier on in the season, has also been heavily linked.
