Lille linked with move for West Brom managerial target
Ligue 1 side Lille are preparing a move for Oscar Garcia, who has been linked with the vacant West Brom job.
Sport report that the French side want the Spaniard to take over from Marcelo Bielsa, who has been removed from his duties at the club.
Lille have not officially sacked Bielsa yet, in the hope that he resigns from the job.
However, reports now suggest that he is preparing a legal battle with the Ligue 1 side.
Garcia, the former Brighton manager, has recently resigned from Saint-Étienne, despite the club sitting sixth are 14 games in France.
Tony Pulis was sacked following West Brom’s 4-0 defeat at home to Chelsea and the club are yet to appoint a new manager.
Alan Pardew is the bookies’ favourite for the job and has held talks with the club’s board about the vacant position.
