Few gave West Brom a chance on Saturday to get anything from the game at Wembley against Tottenham, but Gary Megson’s side silenced their doubters.

West Brom were at it from kick-off and their pressure was rewarded early on when Jake Livermore pounced on a poor touch from Dele Alli to play in Salomon Rondon who ran in on goal and slotted past Hugo Lloris into the far corner.

Harry Kane’s second-half strike levelled things up for Spurs but the Baggies had their fair share of chances to take home all three points.

After stopping the rot, Megson, who remains in temporary charge for the time being, returns to the Hawthorns to take on a Newcastle side who are struggling mightily at the moment, losing each of their last four Premier League games.

How will Megson line-up in his first and potentially only home game in charge? Here is our predicted XI.
