West Brom finally ended a 20 match winless streak by beating Brighton and Hove Albion at the Hawthorns.
Alan Pardew’s men ended as 2-0 winners over the seagulls, as the Baggies finally picked up a vital win.
Johnny Evans started Albion off in good fashion, heading the ball in to give the Baggies the lead in the fourth minute of the game.
Albion scored another similar goal just before half time, with Craig Dawson heading home from a corner to make it 2-0 to West Brom.
Brighton rarely threatened the Albion goal, and looked very poor as they slumped to another league defeat.
The result takes West Brom off the bottom of the table, and closer to safety. It also hands Alan Pardew his first league victory as Albion boss, after taking over from Tony Pulis.
