West Brom and Everton played out a one all draw at Goodison Park, in a match overshadowed by an injury to Everton midfielder James McCarthy.
The Irish international suffered a double leg break, after being involved in a challenge with Solomon Rondon. The Venezuelan was in tears after the incident and McCarthy was stretchered off the pitch.
Albion took the lead early on through Jay Rodriguez. The forward scored his third goal in five matches, as West Brom looked comfortable early on.
West Brom would hold the lead until late in the second half, where Oumar Niasse, seconds after coming on, scored the equaliser for Everton from a Theo Walcott cross, making his debut after his £20 million move from Arsenal.
The result leaves West Brom in 19th place, three points adrift of safety. Everton remain in ninth, on 28 points.
