James McClean’s future uncertain at West Brom
James McClean has only made two Premier League starts since Boxing Day and is continually being overlooked by West Brom manager Alan Pardew.
Derby County made a bid for the Republic Of Ireland international in January but the offer was rejected and Gary Rowett’s interest was cut short. The Championship are likely to come in for the winger again in the summer.
In an interview with The Derry Journal, McClean went on to say that he isn’t in a position to dictate his value, that’s for the club to do, he then proceed to say:
I just want to play football whether that’s at West Brom or not. While I’m at West Brom for however long that may be, I’ll give everything for the cause like I always do.
West Brom currently sit bottom of the Premier League table McClean is desperate to get into the first-team and help the Baggies fight for survival..
West Brom travel to Stamford Bridge next Monday to take on a Chelsea side who got dismantled by Watford last night.
Albion will look to hit Chelsea while they are in this bad run of form and McClean will be hoping he’s in the side.
