Darren Moore committed to Baggies despite Barnsley approach
West Brom’s Darren Moore isn’t looking to leave the club, despite an approach from Championship side Barnsley.
The Express and Star report that Moore is committed to helping the Baggies stay in the Premier League this season.
Barnsley had been keen to speak to Moore as they go in search of a new manager.
The Championship side lost Paul Heckingbottom to Leeds earlier this week and are undergoing an extensive search for a new manager.
Moore, who has expressed his desire to manage in the senior game, was promoted to first-team duties when Alan Pardew joined the club earlier this season.
Oxford United and MK Dons have also expressed an interest in Moore recently, but the latter opted for former England U-16s boss Dan Micciche.
Moore spent five years at West Brom as a player, making over 100 appearances for the Baggies, but also spent two years at Barnsley in the latter stages of his career.
