Chelsea claimed a much needed victory in the Premier League as they beat West Brom 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
A brace from Eden Hazard and second-half strike by Victor Moses was enough to keep the three points in West London.
The victory brings Antonio Conte’s side back into the top four at the expense of Tottenham following two loses in recent weeks to Bournemouth and Watford.
It was a comfortable night for the Blues who took control once Hazard gave the hosts a deserved lead in the first-half.
The Baggies struggled to live with the brilliant Hazard for large parts and it was a struggle for them to keep pace with the Premier League champions, although they’ll look back on two glorious chances that went begging when the game was still in the balance.
Here are our West Brom ratings following the defeat
Ben Foster - 6
A disappointing night for the keeper who was poorly positioned for the Chelsea third goal.
Kieran Gibbs - 5
A tough night for the full back and was booked for his troubles and struggled to deal with the Chelsea front line.
Jonny Evans - 4
A poor performance from the visiting captain as he struggled to keep a strong defensive shape and picked up a booking during the game.
Ahmed Hegazi - 5
Struggled to cope with the fluid Chelsea front three but was a threat at set pieces in the Chelsea box.
Craig Dawson - 5
Much like many of the Baggies defenders struggled to make an impact on the game. Probably lucky to get away without being sent off after a poor early challenge.
Gareth Barry - 6
Found it tough to compete with the host’s midfield on another difficult night for the veteran.
Grzegorz Krychowiak - 6
Showed plenty of desire in the visitor’s midfield but it was tough against Kante and Fabregas throughout.
Chris Brunt - 4
Was hooked off at half-time after a poor first half showing from the winger.
Matt Phillips - 6
Found it tough to make an impact on the game but kept going right through to the end and he did have the beating of his man a few times.
Salomon Rondon - 5
Led the line well but was feeding off limited chances up front for the Baggies. Did well to earn himself a one-on-one but couldn’t convert.
Daniel Sturridg - N/A
Was forced off after just four minutes with yet another injury for the player.
Subs
Jay Rodriguez – 5: Came on really early but struggled to make much of an impact. Miss an absolute sitter when one-one-one with Courtois as he rushed his shot when he had plenty of time to score.
Oliver Burke – 5: Came on at the break but struggled to make any kind of difference in the game.
Claudio Yacob – 5: Wasn’t on for too long but was solid in the midfield when he came on.
