After a massively disappointing campaign, West Bromwich Albion could be relegated to the Championship this weekend.

The table makes grim reading for Baggies fans, with their side having just 25 points from 35 matches.

They are eight points behind 17th placed Swansea City, who also have a game in hand, meaning that anything but victory at mid-table Newcastle United this weekend will seal their fate.

West Brom started the season with Tony Pulis at the helm before he was deemed surplus to requirements by owner Guochuan Laim, who decided Alan Pardew was the man to steer the club to safety.

That wasn’t the case, and Pardew was also relieved of his duties following a run of eight successive league defeats.

Caretaker boss Darren Moore has taken over until the end of the season and is unbeaten in his three matches in charge, including a win at Old Trafford and a point against Liverpool at home.

However, the Baggies must now turn their attention towards for recruitment for next season, as they bid to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

Having spent seven seasons at the top table of English football, the club will now be shopping for a different calibre of player.
