Tony Pulis has been given a boost ahead of West Brom’s home tie against Crystal Palace on Saturday evening.

There was concern after Jonny Evans’ injury that the Baggies would need to use a make-shift defence for the visit of Alan Pardew’s men as some of the regular back four were also suffering with various fitness issues.

However, as reported by The Express and StarStar , Craig Dawson and Gareth McAuley are both expected to return to the starting line-up after missing the FA Cup defeat to Reading.

McAuley missed the humiliating defeat as he was still suffering with a hamstring injury, whilst Dawson was nursing a sore ankle.

Earlier in the week, it was reported that both players were doubts for the visit of the Eagles, but both have got back to full health quicker than originally anticipated.

Both sides are currently locked on 32 points in the Premier League table going into the game and the winner of the tie has a chance to move up to 11th place in the standings, depending on other results.
