West Bromwich Albion, Bournemouth and Blackburn are all targeting Celtic midfielder Charlie Mulgrew this upcoming summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Tony Pulis, Eddie Howe and Paul Lambert are admirers of the Scottish international.
Pulis is said to be very keen to take the 29-year-old to the Hawthorns after this season has been completed.
Mulgrew is out-of-contract in June and has only made 11 appearances for the Hoops this season – a total he’s unlikely to be happy with.
He was, however, reinstated to the Celtic line-up earlier this week as the Scottish side drew nil-nil with Dundee.
The possibility of him signing a new deal with the Parkhead club is still there, but with time running out for that to happen, other clubs are now circling for Mulgrew.
What do we know about Charlie Mulgrew?
- He’s made 21 appearances for Scotland, scoring one goal.
- He’s played for Wolves in his career.
- He can play in midfield, as a left-back or even as a central defender.
- He won Scottish PFA Player of the Year in 2012.
The future of Mulgrew remains to be seen, but with his contract running down and a number of potential suitors, his options are wide open.
With the future of Ronny Deila also in doubt at Celtic, the Scot may decide on a new challenge heading into the 2016/17 season.
