West Brom are enjoying one of their best ever Premier League seasons right now as they sit comfortably in eighth place and well adrift of any relegation fears.
Just four points back from Everton in seventh, the Baggies have faint, but legitimate hopes of clawing their way into a Europa League berth for the 2017/18 season.
Will they get there though? It’s a tough ask, for sure. Pulis has his side playing well right now and are capable of causing a few upsets on their run-in between now and May.
How many points will West Brom finish on? We predict every result from their remaining 11 games in the Premier League which will give us an indication of whether they’ll sneak into the Europa League.
Here’s how we see the Baggies’ season going from here.
Everton (A) - Draw
The Baggies’ biggest challenger for seventh are Everton and that’s who are up next for Tony Pulis.
West Brom are tough to beat on the road and I can see them sharing the spoils.
Arsenal (H) - Loss
Arsenal will come looking to attack and ease the supporter unrest which spells trouble for the Baggies.
Manchester United (A) - Loss
Manchester United, looking to secure a Champions League place, can’t afford any slip-ups and will be prepared for the Baggies’ challenge.
Watford (A) - Win
West Brom will need to get back to winning ways and a dead-rubber game against Watford is the perfect remedy.
Southampton (H) - Win
West Brom got the best of Southampton last time out who will be without Virgil van Dijk this time. I see the Baggies picking up another win.
Liverpool (H) - Loss
Liverpool’s sheer pace and trickery in the final third will be the undoing of the Baggies.
Manchester City (A) - Loss
Speaking of pace, City don’t lack it with Sterling, Sane and Aguero in attack. They’ll be pushing for a Champions League place and need the win.
Leicester (H) - Draw
The Foxes are rejuvenated of late and could well still be in a relegation scrap at the bottom of the table. A possible trap game, I see it playing out with honours even.
Burnley (A) - Draw
Burnley have one of the best home records in the division and I find it hard to see the Baggies picking up a win here.
A determined defensive effort will earn them a point.
Chelsea (H) - Loss
West Brom will likely be one of the casualties as Chelsea romp home to a fifth Premier League title.
Swansea (A) - Win
The Baggies end the season on a high with a comfortable win over struggling Swansea, where does that leave us?
Overall
We have West Brom picking up another 12 points from their remaining 11 games in what looks on paper a very tough run-in as the Baggies play six of the seven teams sitting above them currently.
Those 12 points see Tony Pulis’ side sitting on 52 points at the end of the season. For comparison, that total would’ve seen the Baggies finish ninth.
52 points would be the Baggies’ highest-ever points tally in the Premier League – a great achievement for all involved.
