West Brom targeting Chelsea defender Terry
West Brom are reportedly lining up a shock move for Chelsea legend John Terry this summer.
According to an exclusive report from the Mirror this evening, Tony Pulis is considering making a swoop for the experienced defender, who has fallen largely out of favour under Antonio Conte this season.
Terry hasn’t been a good fit in Chelsea’s revolutionary 3-4-3 formation that has seen them cruise to the top of the league this season, and as a result has not featured anywhere near as much as he would have liked to.
The 36-year-old defender is out of contract in the summer and will be available to sign on a free transfer for his potential suitors, and it looks as though the Baggies could be one of those ready and waiting to come in for the club captain.
Terry would provide experience and an immense pedigree to the West Brom squad and would definitely bolster the options.
