The end of the season does not get any easier for the Baggies with a trip to the Etihad Stadium tonight.
It’s a big game for the hosts who are desperately trying to finish inside the top four, a win tonight will all but secure that for Pep Guardiola’s men.
The Baggies narrowly lost to now Premier League champions Chelsea on Monday night, the win saw the Blues secure the trophy in Antonio Conte’s first season.
With that performance in mind, we’ve tried to predict tonight’s starting XI.
GK - Ben Foster
Dependable as ever, the Baggies’ number one.
RB - Allan Nyom
May shift over to the right of the back four after an injury to Gareth McAuley against Chelsea.
CB - Craig Dawson
With Nyom shifting over to the right, Craig Dawson comes into the centre of defence.
CB - Johnny Evans
Evans is one of the first names on the team sheet for Pulis and could partner Dawson.
LB - Marc Wilson
Wilson got a rare appearances against Chelsea and could slot in at left-back after McAuley’s injury.
CDM - Claudio Yacob
Came off the bench to sure things up against Chelsea and did just that. He’ll be looking to frustrate Manchester City tonight.
RM - James McClean
Didn’t enjoy the best of evenings against Chelsea but will be crucial to the Baggies if they want to come away from the Etihad with anything.
CM - Sam Field
The youngster needs as much game time as possible between now and the end of the season, could be a real learning curve for him.
CM - Jake Livermore
Has been excellent in the middle of the park, making the position his own.
LM - James Morrison
Could come into the side to link the midfield and attack, likely to play in more of a free role from the left.
ST - Salomon Rondon
The big striker put in an improved performance against Chelsea on Monday night and will be hoping to continue that at the Etihad.
