According to talkSPORT, West Brom are keen on bringing in ex-Manchester City and Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna after being released from Man City this summer. Crystal Palace are also interested.
There is interest from various clubs in France but West Brom and Crystal Palace are very keen on signing the experienced Frenchman according to French news outlet L’Equipe.
West Brom are looking into signing the 34-year-old to bolster their defensive options, with the only natural right back at the club being Allan Nyom and Sanga would be an improvement on the Cameroonian.
Palace are also showing interest as their right back position is very thin, with Martin Kelly and Joel Ward being the only players that suit that role so interest from The Eagles is high as well.
Sagna left City this summer after Pep Guardiola didn’t extend his deal at The Etihad but being a player of his caliber being available on a free transfer, there’s no doubt that many clubs are interested.
Since joining Arsenal 10 years ago, Sagna has made 267 appearances for both Arsenal and Manchester City and in every season he has performed very well, showing great attacking and defending traits so whoever the Frenchman signs for it would be an amazing piece of business.
