Baggies reject five offers for young midfielder
West Brom have rejected several offers for young midfielder Sam Field, according to a report from the Express and Star.
Field is likely to leave the club on loan this summer with Tony Pulis determined for the youngster to get some regular game time this season.
Championship sides Norwich, Derby County, Barnsley and Sheffield United are all said to be interested in the player.
West Brom have been holding off on a deal to let the player leave, despite already rejecting offers, with the Baggies yet to replace Darren Fletcher, who left for Stoke earlier in the transfer window.
The 19-year-old was on the fringes of the Baggies’ first-team squad towards the end of last season and did manage to make a single Premier League appearance.
Field is highly thought of at the Hawthorns and regular first-team football will allow him to continue his development, albeit away from the club.
