West Brom picked up their first points since the departure of Tony Pulis this afternoon, drawing with Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.
Gary Megson’s team almost took all three points at the national stadium, but Harry Kane’s late equaliser means that both teams had to settle for a point.
Solomon Rondon opened the scoring on four minutes for the Baggies, slotting home after Jake Livermore’s excellent through ball.
Albion were content to sit back after taking the lead, hoping to maybe catch Spurs on the break for a second goal.
However, Spurs would eventually break the West Brom resistance, with striker Harry Kane netting on 73 minutes after Jonny Evans had a lapse of concentration.
The result leaves Albion sill in 17th place on 11 points, only one point off of West Ham in 18th and the relegation zone.
