West Brom snatched a late point in their game against Arsenal on Sunday.
The Baggies headed into the match knowing that they absolutely needed to secure something from the encounter and they were able to come away with a draw thanks to some dubious refereeing.
Alexis Sanchez drew first blood in the game as his deflected free-kick wrong-footed Ben Foster in the Baggies goal, helping the visitors to take a 1-0 lead at the Hawthorns.
It was a hugely entertaining game with both teams plugging away throughout, and West Brom’s endeavour was eventually rewarded with some luck.
Referee Mike Dean pointed to the spot after judging Calum Chambers to have committed a handball in the box. Replays showed, however, that it certainly was not a penalty.
Nevertheless, Jay Rodriguez stepped up with just minutes to go and was the coolest man in the ground as he dispatched the spot kick.
