With the club sat bottom of the Premier League table, West Brom have made two big changes to the club hierarchy.
Chairman John Williams and Chief Executive Martin Goodman have both had their contracts with West Brom terminated and have been placed on garden leave with immediate effect, the club has announced.
Mark Jenkins has returned to the club to replace Goodman as CEO after being named a director of the club’s controlling company, WBA Holdings.
A Club spokesman said:
We would like to thank John and Martin for all their efforts since their appointments and wish them well for the future.
Jenkins, returning to the club as CEO after a previous 14-year stint in the same role, said:
There is much to do but for now the focus must solely be on the remaining games of this season.
