West Brom manager Alan Pardew is reportedly on the verge of losing his job following his side’s loss to Watford on Saturday.
The Telegraph reports that the former Crystal Palace and Newcastle boss could be out of work soon after losing five consecutive games in the Premier League.
Reports throughout the week had suggested it was win or bust for Pardew, despite his West Brom side putting in a spirited performance at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon.
However, a single goal from Troy Deeney in the second half was enough for the Hornets to seal victory.
The Baggies are now eight points behind Southampton in 17th with just nine games left to play.
With games against Manchester United, Liverpool and Spurs all to come relegation looks like a matter of when and not if for the Baggies.
Pardew was only appointed as manager in November but West Brom now face the prospect of naming their third boss of the season.
