West Brom scout Okay Yokuslu
West Brom have reportedly scouted West Ham target Okay Yokuslu, as his current club Trabzonspor have accepted they are open to selling the player, according to Milliyet.
With West Brom looking likely to be relegated to the Championship, it’s unknown whether this would make a difference on if they can land the player this summer.
The club have really moved on with their interest despite their current situation in the Premier League and are keen to land the Turkish international, nonetheless.
West Brom were originally keen to sign the player in January but failed to work out a move and are instead set to move in the summer for him. The player currently has a £7 million asking price and the Baggies are set to reach this in order to get their man.
The club sent some scouts to watch Yokuslu in action during Trabzonspor’s 2-0 home defeat to reigning Super Lig champions Besiktas last Monday and despite a loss for his side, it was a positive performance from the 24-year-old.
West Brom will need to fight off competition from West Ham, with the Hammers keen on bringing in a midfielder after struggling to find a consistent player in this position this season.
