West Brom confirmed on Monday that Alan Pardew had been relieved of his duties as the club’s first-team manager.

The experienced boss left his role after overseeing the club’s demise to an even worse extent following Tony Pulis’ stagnant spell in charge of the Baggies prior to his arrival.

West Brom are rooted to the foot of the Premier League table and it looks as though Championship football next season is an inevitability.

Darren Moore is in caretaker charge of the first-team squad for the remaining games of the season but the Baggies board will be hoping to have a permanent boss in place ahead of what promises to be a crucial summer at the club.
