Johnny Evans and Hal Robson-Kanu are set to return for West Brom this weekend against Liverpool, reports the Express & Star.

The duo missed last weekend’s shock 1-0 victory against Manchester United as the Baggies claimed their first win in 11 league games.

A knee injury forced Evans to miss the last two games whilst Robson-Kanu suffered a concussion following the 2-1 defeat against Bournemouth last month. Caretaker manager Darren Moore commented on the situation, saying:

They’re two welcome additions and we’re delighted to have them back. Both are excellent players and we certainly welcome them back with open arms.

Ali Gabr is expected to be dropped from the bench against Liverpool, and Daniel Sturridge will miss out as he can’t play against his parent club.

Moore is expected to stick with the same starting eleven that claimed a big win as they aim to keep their slim chances at survival alive in Saturday’s lunchtime kick off.

West Brom know that a loss, coupled with a Swansea point away at Manchester City on Sunday, would be enough to send them back to the Championship for the first time since 2010.
