The Telegraph are reporting that West Brom are interested in a move for Bristol City’s Bobby Reid and Brentford’s Romaine Sawyers, as the Baggies attempt to adapt to the Championship.
Albion have made an offer of over £7 million for Reid, who was on fire in the Championship last season. The striker netted 19 times for the Robins last season and was key in their Carabao Cup run that saw them knocked out by eventual winners Man City.
West Brom are hopeful that a deal for the striker can be sorted this month.
Sawyers is a former Albion academy graduate. The winger left Albion for Walsall in 2013, before following manager Dean Smith to Brentford in 2016. Sawyers is high on Albion boss Darren Moore’s shortlist, with a £3 million fee being discussed.
Albion are determined to back Moore this window, as West Brom attempt to get back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
